COAPALMA ECARA

Currently COAPALMA ECARA prioritizes the adoption of the 3 fundamental principles of sustainable development (social, environmental and economic). The adoption of these principles brings with it positive impacts, such as the implementation of measures of control, prevention, mitigation and compensation that will minimize the negative impacts on the environment. As a compensation measure it is also contemplated to implement projects of reforestation and diversification of crops produced in harmony with the environment. Furthermore, it’s also undergoing a process of environmental normalization with governmental entities (Mi Ambiente) and working on the principles and criteria of the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil), ISCC (International Sustainability Carbon Certification) and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 - 2015).
